Description

Named for Ping Tung, Taiwan the town of its origin. Ping Tung produces sweet and tender fruit 30-45cm (12″-18″) long and 3cm (1 1/4″) in diameter. Very prolific and disease resistant plants produce upwards of 20 fruit per plant. Tie the plants upwards and straight to ensure straighter fruit production. Keep soil evenly moist during hot weather. Plants will benefit from wind protection.
